Joni Boucher, Vice President, is a founding staff member, senior grantmaker and consultant at PPS. She heads professional development for the team and has led the organization’s research and development of tools and practices to welcome the next generation of philanthropic leadership onto foundation boards. In her almost 20 years of philanthropic experience, she has provided staffing, leadership support, and systems solutions to many local, national, family, and private foundations. Through PPS, Joni currently serves as lead staff to two of PPS’s foundation clients as well as Philanthropic Advisor to several other foundations working with PPS. Prior to her work in philanthropy, Joni was an elementary educator in the Minneapolis and the Centennial Public School Systems. She graduated cum laude from the College of St. Scholastica with a BA in Elementary Education and has studied best practices in instructing neuro-diverse learners through St. Thomas University.
